Cobaltine Scheduling

Threat level: moderate

Cobaltine is the best-funded company in our category and the one we lose to on first impressions. Their mobile app is genuinely better than ours, their brand is louder, and they are hiring aggressively into the Southeast. In head-to-head evaluations we have lost twice, both times to buyers who chose in the first meeting.

They do not automate waitlist recovery. Their product surfaces the open slot and leaves the calling to the clinic, which is the entire job our customers hire us to remove. That gap is structural rather than a missing feature — they have no PMS write-back, so they cannot book on a clinic’s behalf even if they wanted to. Until that changes, every deal we lose to them is a deal we lost on polish, not on outcome, and that is a fixable problem.
