Lead story

We stopped asking clinics to configure anything, and onboarding got twice as fast

For eighteen months new clinics met a fourteen-step setup checklist. It was thorough, defensible, and the single largest reason deals stalled after signature. Last month we deleted it and replaced it with one import: point Brightloom at the practice management system, and it infers providers, rooms, and appointment types on its own.

Median go-live is now four days. Two clinics went live the same afternoon they signed. Nobody has asked for the checklist back.

The five things

Clinic onboarding time cut to four days

We rebuilt setup around a single import step instead of a checklist. New clinics now go live in a median of four days, down from nine in March. The remaining friction is entirely on the provider-mapping screen, which is next.

Merridew pilot expands to twelve locations

What started as two clinics in Charlotte is now the whole group. Their ops director asked for the rollout after seeing a 6-point jump in fill rate in the pilot sites.

Waitlist auto-fill enters review

The spec is done and requirements are frozen at nine items. Offers expire in twenty minutes and pass down the ranked list — the interesting design work was in what we chose not to automate.

SMS deliverability fixed in two regions

Reminders were double-sending for clinics in the Mountain and Central time zones. A retry loop was firing on a false negative from the carrier. Fixed Jul 18, and we wrote to every affected clinic ourselves.

Benchmark report drove fourteen trials in three days

The clinic staffing benchmark was our best-performing piece ever. Fourteen trials, four of them multi-location groups, zero paid distribution.
