What is new in Brightloom

Everything we shipped, in plain language — including the things that broke. Your CSM emails a summary on the first Monday of each month; there is nothing to subscribe to.

New

Waitlist auto-fill, in early access

When a patient cancels, Brightloom now offers the slot to your waitlist on its own — ranked by your rules, held for twenty minutes, and written back to your PMS when someone accepts. Ten clinics are running it now. If you want to be next, tell your CSM; we are enabling them one at a time on purpose.

Improved

Schedule sync is about twice as fast

Changes in your practice management system now appear in Brightloom in under thirty seconds, down from just over a minute. You will notice it most on busy mornings, when several cancellations land at once.

Fixed

SMS reminders were double-sending in two regions

Clinics in Mountain and Central time zones received duplicate reminders for eleven days in June. A retry was firing on a false negative from the carrier, and we did not catch it because we were monitoring the job rather than the messages. It is fixed, we wrote to all 22 affected clinics directly, and we have added alerting on duplicates.

New

Onboarding is now one import

We deleted the fourteen-step setup checklist. Point Brightloom at your practice management system and it infers providers, rooms, and appointment types — you confirm the list and you are live. Median go-live is now four days, down from nine.

Improved

Webhook signatures, version 2

Outbound webhooks are now signed with a scheme your security team will recognise, including a timestamp to prevent replay. Version 1 signatures keep working until Jan 2027, and we will email every affected integration before that date.

Fixed

Locum providers no longer disappear from the schedule

If a temporary provider was added mid-week, their appointments could drop out of the recovery board until the next sync. They now appear immediately.

Older releases are kept in the product under Settings → Release history, going back to our first public version in March 2025. If you are looking for a specific change and cannot find it, email support@brightloom.dev and we will tell you exactly when it shipped.
